About
Dilip Gogoi is an Associate Professor of Political Science in Cotton University, Guwahati, India. An alumnus of Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi and Lok Sabha Research Fellow (2018-2020), the Parliament of India, he has authored Making of India’s Northeast: Geopolitics of Borderland and Transnational Interactions, London: Routledge,2020 and edited Unheeded Hinterland: Identity and Sovereignty in Northeast India, London: Routledge,2016. He specialises in International Relations with a special focus on Northeast India sub-region with its immediate neighbourhood, besides having keen research interest on ethnonationalism and borderland studies in South Asian context. His current research interests include transboundary environmental governance and justice from the perspective of international relations with an emphasis on Northeast India and greater eastern Himalayan region.
