About
Jilly Sarkar earned her Doctoral Degree from the Centre for Political Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi under the supervison of Prof. Sudha Pai. She also pursued her Masters and M Phil from the same institution.
Her current research interests are in the field of Indian Politics, Public policy and Decentralisation.Her Doctoral work was on Public Policy and Policy Making: A study of MGNREGA in Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh.
As a faculty in Department of Political Science, National Defence Academy, Pune she taught cadets there between 2013-2016. An alumi of erstwhile Cotton College as an undergraduate student, she joined Cotton University in the year 2016. Presently she teaches courses on Indian Politics, Constitutional Studies, and Public Policy.
