About

Bhaskar Jyoti Deka graduated from the Department of Political Science of North Lakhimpur College, Dibrugarh University. He completed his Post-Graduation in Politics (with Specialization in International Relations) from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. He pursued his M.Phil. from the Centre for International Politics, Organization and Disarmament, School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. He is currently conducting his doctoral research in the Centre for International Politics, Organization and Disarmament (CIPOD), School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. He published research articles in international journals like Asian Affairs/The Royal Society for Asian Affairs, Strategic Analysis, etc. His articles appeared in magazines like World Focus (English) and Satsori (Assamese). He occasionally contributes opinion pieces to select Assamese newspapers. Some of his short stories were published by popular Assamese magazine Gariashi.
